Tom Andes: Original songs, country, blues & Americana

For nearly a decade in New Orleans, Americana singer-songwriter Tom Andes has been delighting audiences with his stories of love and loss. His sound draws from influences including Delta blues, traditional country, Western swing, and gospel.  His baritone voice and cinematic lyrics draw his listeners into scenes from the lives of the down-and-outs and dreamers who populate his songs. Writing for Offbeat, Dan Willging called the title track of Tom’s debut, “Static on Every Station,” “infectious with charge-ahead energy spearheaded by Andes’ searing guitar tones.”

Tom has participated in the Mississippi Songwriters Festival, the Ozone Songwriter Festival.  He has played guitar for Emily Neustrom and the Fried Honeys, who performed as part of Festival International and the Baton Rouge Blues Festival. He’s been a finalist in the Monsoon Music House Songwriting Contest, the Telluride Blues Challenge sponsored by the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival, and his band performed in the 2025 Crawdaddy Blues Fest.

In 2024, Tom relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he is gigging with several bands, as a solo performer, and with his own band. The Ones That Brought You Home (Southern Crescent Recording Co. 2025) is a vinyl release of Tom’s two acclaimed EPs. Tom is also an accomplished fiction writer of fiction, published in Best American Mystery and Suspense Stories 2025.  He’s also authored the novel, “Wait There Till You Hear from Me” (Crescent City Books 2025). His next record, Wonderful Days, produced by Matthew Tobais, is due to drop in early 2026.  Tom has also authored a story collection published by Cowboy Jamboree Press in the fall.

Doors open at 7PM. KN95+ masks are required for attendees and are provided for FREE at the venue.
