Phoenix Folklore Friday: Canidae
Phoenix Folklore Friday will be welcoming the Spring Equinox with stories and songs featuring Wolves, Jackals, Coyotes, Foxes and Dogs. These fantastic four-leggeds from the Canidae family are prevalent in mythology, legends and folklore from all around the world. Join us for an evening of traditional stories and songs that allow for a pause to reconnect with each other, to honor the past, and to reawaken our kinship with nature. The evening commences at 7:30pm. There usually is a break between the two hours to grab a drink and a snack, unless we have some cancellations. Then we will run the session straight through. As always, the skill of the oral storyteller will ensure that the stories are appropriate for the audience.
