Tonight we are showcasing Denise Lane from Tucson!  Formerly of the Bay Area, Denise Lane has been living and playing music in Tucson for the past twenty four years, both as a solo artist and as a member of bands The Spurloafers, The Jane Heirs, and Unsettled. She has recorded 2 albums with The Spurloafers as well as a recent solo album, Can You Hear It? Denise describes her music as the love child of Edgar Allan Poe and Patsy Cline. With elements of folk, rock, blues, and country, she explores different subjects, fictional and true, sometimes dark and often philosophical.
