Jessi.Is.Tired sings “fun” songs about hard topics. Her lyrics are humorous and heavy. Her songs together tell a tale of what happens when you repress your emotions, and the different stages of learning to feel again. Going from musically masking to raging, Jessi explores different vibes and genres for different emotions. When not singing solo, she can be found with her band being very loud and taking up space on purpose.

As a proudly Disabled artist, she challenges the narrative that she should be palatable, and only sing positive, uplifting songs to inspire people. Instead, she writes honest songs meant to shine a light on the societal barriers Disabled people face, the trauma it leads to, and the messy emotions that come with living in a world that actively ‘others’ and excludes you.
