Phoenix Folklore Friday – Traditional Storytelling & Song
It’s Phoenix Folklore Friday’s Second Anniversary! As the Darkness of Winter grows, may our hearts be filled with Hope and Expectation for the coming Light. Celebrate the Winter Solstice! Join us for an evening of traditional stories and songs that allow for a pause to reconnect with each other, to honor the past, and to reawaken our kinship with nature. The evening commences at 7:30pm. There will be a break between the two hours to grab a drink and a snack. Come for the first half, come for the second half, or stay for the whole time! As always, the skill of the oral storyteller will ensure that the stories are appropriate for the audience.
Come enjoy the story and song, and enjoy an evening of connection and community, and join us as we begin to celebrate Fiddler’s Dream’s 39th Anniversary year of showcasing acoustic music, storytelling, poetry, and spoken word! We offer seriously strong brewed coffee, soft drinks, teas, and of course Boxed Water; plant-based barista-style milks available too. Bring a friend!
